ISABELLA Awodele
String Instructor
Isabella Awodele is a music educator relocating to the Emerald Coast from Atlanta, Georgia. She and her
husband have moved to Fort Walton Beach for his military assignment at Eglin AFB.

Awodele is a strong advocate for string music education. She began playing viola at age 11 as a product
of the Gwinnett County School District. In 2023, she graduated from Kennesaw State University with a
bachelor’s degree in music education and worked in the Cobb County School District as the Betty Gray
Middle School Orchestra Director. She has also maintained a private studio since 2021 teaching violin,
viola, and cello to students ages 6 to 17. As a teacher, she emphasizes the importance of students
mastering foundational concepts such as posture, technique, music literacy, and tuning to foster successful
musicianship from the very beginning.

Awodele is eager to continue her journey in string music education and is happy to have found a home
with the Sinfonia Gulf Coast.
