The Sinfonia Youth Orchestra (SYO) program is the premier training orchestra in Northwest Florida and consists of more than 60 students who participate in a variety of ensembles that perform throughout the school year.


Sinfonia Gulf Coast Youth Orchestras’ mission is to provide the highest quality youth orchestra experience to students living in Northwest Florida. The orchestra program strives to create a culture of community, collaboration, and cultivation by ensuring that each member has an empowering musical experience through participation in the orchestras.

• Strings, Winds, Brass, Percussion

Sinfonietta Strings

• All Ages
• Beginning String Students

Benefits of SYO membership include:

• SYO members and their immediate families receive complimentary tickets to all main season concerts.
• SYO members benefit from small group mentoring multiple times a semester with experienced sectional instructors for individual instruments.
• High school students can earn Bright Futures volunteer hours by participating in
additional opportunities to play for community groups as well as by volunteering as ushers at Sinfonia main season concerts.
• Seniors have the opportunity to apply for the Grace Fulcher Memorial Scholarship, created in memory and honor of Grace Bernice Fulcher.
